Researchers in Germany say that sauna therapy benefits the heart and skin benefits similar to exercise. It cleanses and regenerates. The more you go, the more your skin and heart seem to benefit!

Take Care of Yourself! Don't use the Sauna if it is not right for you.

Sauna Tips

Start using the sauna gradually if you're not used to it. Stay in only as long as you are comfortable, increasing the time with each visit.

Rinse your body or take a shower each time before starting a sauna session.

Have a small towel to place under your body when you sit in the sauna, and one to wipe sweat.

Remove all of your clothing and unnecessary items (watch, glasses, rings etc.).

Drink a lot of water or green tea (preferably) before or after each time you enter a sauna.

Private Sauna Use is Now Available

Use of our two saunas are public and are free with regular admission. Now you can reserve one of our new saunas privately during regular hours of operation everyday. Call for private sauna availability and reserve a time. Or simply come by and request your private access and we'll do the rest. You just enjoy yourself. Rate: $10 per person/per hour for single or groups up to 8 members. Best times: early morning and late evening. Mid-day is okay, but we recommend these other times to enhance a relaxing, rejuvenating experience, especially during summer.

SAUNA BENEFITS

The benefits of saunas and steambaths are widely reported. Heat therapy helps to relieve stress and improve health overall. Perspiration stimulates circulation, sooths tired muscles, reduces nervous tension, and promotes healthier and more beautiful skin. You'll probably get a better night's sleep, too.
