Bodywork brings ease to aches and pains, reduces the stress that incrementally builds up in our bodies, increases our happiness and well being. I am honored and delighted to be an active element in delivering these outcomes. My massage style is one of deep connection using a touch that is both firm and gentle, listening with my hands and active in delivering the pressure that is called for moment to moment. Energetically, I hold a space that allows increased integration within oneself and supports you to be more at home in your own body.... I bring to my bodywork sessions all I have ever done: all the gardening, with my hands in the soil of this planet up to my elbows; all the tending I have given to my own children as they grew up in the gardens; all the wide-open wandering in the remote and quiet places of the West where I have learned to follow my heart and let my feet find the path that is always there.... I bring myself, aligned within my own earth body, dedicated to being present in the activity immediately at hand … delivering the massage that your body is asking for in the moment.... I look forward to working in partnership with you, honoring you right where you are and opening to that unique moment.

Modalities that he offers include: aromatherapy, chair, deep tissue, injury management and rehabilitation, hot stone, hydrotherapy, la stone, myofascial release, prenatal/ pregnancy, reflexology, relaxation, sports massage, scrubs, Swedish, trigger point myotherapy, and wraps. “I have known Dana for the past year and have come to recognize not only that he possesses the skills of an excellent massage therapist, but his compassion and knowledge of how the body works set him apart from the average student,” writes Michele L. Meadows, NCTMB, OMT, Dana’s former Injury Management/Rehabilitation Course instructor. “Being an athlete himself, Dana understands the demands that regular training can place on the body, which gives him a distinct advantage when working with that population."
